Orange Tea Bärbucha Kombucha

Time to describe the next Classic Line Kombucha - Orange Tea Bärbucha.
This one is made out of a single black tea that has been flavored with dried orange zest & orange essential oil.
Since the tea is BIO (organic), so are also those flavoring agents (zest & oil).
Which brings us to the common myth of not using flavored teas or teas that have essential oils in them to make Kombucha, as they would supposedly harm the cultures.

Obviously, it's the tan looking one in the foreground. It looks pretty healthy to us!
As a tea, this particular Orange one is quite tasteful & light with very nice orange notes. And it also does not have strong bitter notes. That's why we picked it for this particular Bärbucha Kombucha.
The higher caffeine content creates a nice, natural carbonation, even just after 1F:
And that carbonation stays on with this booch, without becoming too excessive:
It may not be as popular as other Kombucha in this line up, but we enjoy it as an alternative to our other "flavors". That's why it travels with us, like pictured here in Italy:
