Another special brew in our Premium line Kombucha collection is made with an exceptional tea called Ming Qian Wild Arbor Tips.
This particular tea comes from Dehong in Yunnan Province, China. This tea is made from undeveloped tea buds which are hand picked from wild tea bushes in March. After picking they are sun dried & processed as white tea. The tea that comes from steeping those buds is unlike any other tea. It is very fruity, with both orange & tropical notes.
Because it is picked by hand from wild bushes, this tea is quite expensive, with the price hovering around 150 € a kilo. Taste wise, it's worth it. Both as a tea & as a Kombucha.
We steep it gently for about 20 minutes to get the most flavor out of it
And then it gets transformed, with the help of one of our lively cultures, into an exceptional drink. We mark the production date on the bottles.
And we have tried it after 6 months & it was even more exceptional in flavor. This tea also make a very bubbly booch. Just like a Champagne.
