One of our favorites in the Premium lineup - Kombucha made with Osmanthus Gui Hua tea.
Osmanthus Gui Hua is a Chinese green green tea, mixed in with very fragrant Osmanthus flowers.
Osmanthus flowers come from an evergreen native to China and belonging to Oleace family.
And what makes it one of our favorites? Definitely the flavor.
Osmanthus flowers (pictured below) have a delicate fruity-floral apricot aroma, and when mixed with tea, they make that tea stand out.
So, when you mix those sweet flowers with highly beneficial green tea, you will also end up with a beautifully looking tea.
And a shot from steeping.
And when you add to that the fermentation factor, then you'll end up with something that you could drink and enjoy, based on the flavor alone.
We make this Kombucha just like we make any other one in our Premium Line.
It is brewed in glass, using only Gui Hua tea, filtered and revitalized water, and our live and happy Kombucha cultures.
After a week's time, we bottle it.
When it's done, it looks like this:
Or like this, when it's sun-kissed!
Just one more note on the fragrance of Osmanthus flowers - they are widely used in the perfume industry, as an ingredient in some of the world’s most famous fragrances.
