Pi Lo Chun Bärbucha Kombucha
Aktualisiert: 3. Mai
Pi Lo Chun or Bi Lo Chun (Bilochun) are just some of the names for Xia Sha Ren Xiang tea.
The literal translation of the name is "green snail spring" and it belongs to a famous green tea, originally grown in the Dongting mountain region, near Lake Tai in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China.

It is a tea that is plucked and processed in Spring. The quality of this tea can differ substantially and it is usually available in 7 different grades.
We've been enjoying a higher grade Pi Lo Chun every year, in Spring, when a Taiwanese one becomes available. It is a Sanxia Pi Lo Chun and it is absolutely delicious.

As a tea, it has some very pleasant fruity and nutty flavor, with some grassy vegetal notes.
As a Kombucha, it is light and refreshing. It also has a nice floral bouquet.

We've been definitely enjoying it for the last couple of months. And it'll be coming back every now and then.
