Pi Lo Chun Bärbucha Kombucha

Pi Lo Chun or Bi Lo Chun (Bilochun) are just some of the names for Xia Sha Ren Xiang tea. The literal translation of the name is "green snail spring" & it belongs to a famous green tea, originally from originally grown in the Dongting mountain region near Lake Tai in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China. It is a tea that is plucked & processed in Spring & the quality of this tea can differ substantially. It is usually available in 7 different grades.

As a tea, it has some very pleasant fruity & nutty notes with some grassy vegetal notes.

As a Kombucha it is light & refreshing it has a nice floral bouquet.

We've been definitely enjoying it for the last couple of months.
